Jeff & Mellisa Tufford     I have spent all my life attending Twin Cities Baptist Church. My parents have attended our church since they were teenagers. I attended Faith Baptist School of Davison from 3rd grade through graduation in 1999. Following graduation, I attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College for a semester followed by a semester at the University of Michigan Flint. I left college to take a job as an industrial machinery salesman. After almost two years on the job and shortly into our marriage, I left to become a mortgage consultant. I currently work for Royal Mortgage of Grand Blanc. God has blessed my efforts in this job and I am very thankful to Him for it.     Melissa attended Springfield Christian Academy of Clarkston and Lakecrest Baptist Church of Waterford her whole life. After graduation, she attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College, where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Development. Upon leaving college she became Assistant Director at a Kindercare Preschool. Before we were married, she took a job as a teacher at a Grand Blanc preschool in order to be closer to church and her soon to be home. She took time off to give birth to Ethan and has since taken a part time job at Grand Blanc Academy as a teacher's aide.     God used Twin Cities Baptist Church to bring us together. We attended rival high schools and even the same college, but we never became friends. One Sunday in December of 2000, Melissa visited our church and struck up a conversation with her. Everything fell into place and we were married October 5, 2001. God brought our son Ethan to our family February 18, 2004. With God's help, we hope our family will continue to grow.     We are very excited to be working with the youth group at Twin Cities Baptist Church. We were both brought up in Christian homes, and our youth groups played important roles in our lives. We both enjoyed the activities, afterglows, classes and camps that came with being active members of our youth groups. We hope to make those things fun for all the teens at Twin Cities but we also hope that we could have a part in helping each teen grow in the Lord, reach their lost friends and receive abundant spiritual blessings.             Bro.
