SoLAcc Celebrates 17 Inductees into the National Adult Education Honor Society

¾«¶«´«Ã½ (SoLAcc) proudly inducted 17 adult education students into the National Adult Education Honor Society (NAEHS) during its annual ceremony, held Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Lafayette campus’s Devalcourt Auditorium.

These students were recognized for their outstanding work ethic, perseverance, and commitment to personal and academic growth. Each inductee demonstrated the core values of the NAEHS: effort, achievement, and initiative—qualities that set them apart as leaders among their peers.

“Our adult learners are balancing life, work, and school—and still pushing forward with incredible determination,” said Niccola Ledet-McNair, SoLAcc Director of Adult Education. “It’s an honor to celebrate their success and recognize the impact they’ll continue to make in their communities.”

Each new member will receive a letter of recommendation from their NAEHS chapter to support future employment or career advancement opportunities. Fewer than five percent of adult education students across the country receive this prestigious honor.
