MARITIME
Our Maritime program, within Economic & Workforce Development, provides specialized Coast Guard-approved classroom instruction and practical training to prepare students to obtain a variety of documents, licenses, and endorsements issued by the U.S. Coast Guard, including Safety Training. These credentials are required for many jobs available in the Maritime field.

WHERE: Maritime classes are held at SoLAcc’s Marine & Petroleum Safety Training Center located at 3225 Youngs Rd. in Morgan City.

- Able Seafarer Online: 1 term (75 days) - $750

This is an online/computer-based training course. An online course, including all testing, must be completed in 1 term. Students will take tests and perform competencies in-person at our facility after completing coursework.
