SoLAcc's Toni Celestine named LACE President

Toni Celestine

During the business meeting at the 2025 LACE Conference in July, Toni Celestine officially began her term as President of Louisiana Association of Colleges and Employers (LACE). The Louisiana Association of Colleges and Employers (LACE) is an organization of human resources, college relations, and career services professionals representing employers and universities throughout the state of Louisiana.

As President-elect, Toni planned and hosted the 2025 state conference. The 2025 Conference theme was Building Louisiana's Talent Pipeline From Education to Employment: Strengthening partnerships between schools, universities, and employers to ensure students are ready for the local workforce.

The state conference and monthly coffee chats provide opportunities for career offices and employers to discuss trends, issues, challenges, and opportunities that impact building Louisiana's talent pipeline.

"As President, I am excited for the opportunity to strengthen the relationships between four-year universities, two-year colleges and industry partners to ensure our state's graduates have the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to be successful in our state's workforce. The conference was the first step towards identifying opportunities to better align the efforts between colleges and employers to retain our local talent".
