The SoLAcc Library is bringing the campus community together this month with three special events.

History of Festivals Acadiens & Créoles – Monday, Oct. 6 at 11:00 a.m.
Marguerite Justus of CODOFIL explores the 50-year history of the festival and its role in southwest Louisiana’s cultural and linguistic revival.

Banned Books Week Talk: The Diary of Anne Frank – Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 11:00 a.m.
Dr. Sarah Senette discusses the book’s history of censorship and why it remains an essential text about the Holocaust.

– Thursday, Oct. 16 from 1:00–2:30 p.m.
A free, hands-on introduction to Microsoft Excel’s key tools and features.

All events will be held in Room 123 of the Library in the Devalcourt Building and are open to all students, faculty, and staff.
