Campus Advisory Board gathers at Ville Platte Campus
¾«¶«´«Ã½ (SoLAcc) has been named a Top 10 national finalist for the 2026 Bellwether College Consortium Award in the category of Planning, Governance, and Finance.
SoLAcc’s submission, “Applying External Relations to Produce a Campus Advisory Board Model,” highlights the College’s innovative approach to engaging local stakeholders across Acadiana. The Campus Advisory Board model strengthens collaboration between campuses and communities, aligning educational programs with regional workforce and economic needs.
As a finalist, SoLAcc will present its model at the 32nd Annual Community College Futures Assembly, to be held February 22–24, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. There, the College will compete with other top community colleges nationwide for the prestigious Bellwether Award.
The Bellwether Awards recognize exceptional and innovative community college programs that improve student success and advance institutional effectiveness.
