Honda Pact track in Automotive Technology

We are proud to announce its newest partnership with the Honda Professional Automotive Career Training (PACT) program, bringing Louisiana’s only Honda automotive training program to students beginning in Fall 2025.


This two-year, five-semester initiative will prepare students for high-demand careers in the automotive industry, with specialized training on Honda and Acura vehicles.

SoLAcc will equip students with advanced skills that make them workforce-ready and highly sought after by Honda and Acura dealerships across the country.

tracK OVERVIEW

Students will receive world-class instruction and hands-on training using manufacturer-specific vehicles, tools, and equipment, along with valuable on-the-job experience through internships at local dealerships. Graduates will earn Honda & Acura certifications that position them for well-paying, long-term careers in the industry.

As a part of the Automotive Technology program, which is accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF), students will take courses like:

  • Fundamentals of Automotive Technology
  • Automotive Brake Systems
  • Automotive Electrical Systems
  • Steering and Suspension
  • Engine Component & Repair
  • Automotive Climate Control Systems
  • Engine Performance
  • Manual Transmission, Transaxles and Drives
  • Automatic Transmission, and Drives
  • Automotive Electronics
  • Advanced Drivability
