HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

If you want to drive dozers, excavators, backhoes, and skid steers, our 9-week program in New Iberia is for you! Through a combination of classroom, simulation, and hands-on skills training, you'll learn the fundamental skills of how to safely operate heavy equipment.
 
You'll graduate with the following credentials:
 
  • NCCER Core
  • NCCER Heavy Equipment Level 1
  • NCCER Heavy Equipment Level 2 Equipment Specific Certifications

WHERE: New Iberia

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Age: 18+.
  • No High School, GED or HiSET required*

*A high school or HiSET diploma is required for most financial aid grant applications.
