Foundation for SoLAcc
Formed in 2003, the Foundation for SoLAcc is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization with a mission to foster private financial support for ¾«¶«´«Ã½. The Foundation is governed by a 21-member board of directors, who are comprised of business and community leaders in the parishes serviced by SoLAcc.
The Foundation for SoLAcc supports ¾«¶«´«Ã½ and its students financially through:
- Scholarships
- Program Improvements
- Technological Advancements
- Staff Development
- Capital Expansion
Every dollar of support goes to providing students with a world-class education right in their own communities.
How has Acadiana’s generosity helped our college and students?
- Raised $2.1 million private match for the college’s new Health & Sciences Building.
- Garnered $500,000 in support to establish the college’s first-ever Registered Nursing program.
- Increased scholarships support ten-fold since 2012.
